General Information:
Protowall has been designed with performance in mind. Before it's creation, DudeZ, the coder, tried many firewalls and similar applications in order to protect his system from bad IP addresses. Unfortunately, his CPU was often under heavy load and some firewall applications could not handle all the IP addresses he wanted to block. So, he decided to code something better, something that he and others can use for a better solution.

Protowall Beta 2.01 Build 7 *NEW*
What's New:
(Builds 1 - 7)

1. Fixed a GUI error on the granted packets reset button
2. Uninstaller now removes the driver
3. Was rebuilt in Release Mode (No debugging stuff) and is now much smaller
4. Added option to reset the video log
5. Installer Tweaks and Optimizations
6. Changed the protowall driver error message
7. Disabled the 24 hour update for the time being
8. Made the space bigger for the Blocked/Granted packet activity tracker as the number gets too big and will not display correctly. (Did it but i don't know if it will take)
9. Updated About Screen
10. Moved the Red/Green icon on the GUI
11. The limit on the amount of rules PW can hold has been increased to over 400,000 rules
12. Updated IPFilter.dat
13. The blinking red/green Icon has been removed form the gui, but still blinking in tray.
14. The "View Log" is now located in the File Menu. W/File/ViewLog.
15. Other misc. gui fixes.
16. Prevent crash occasionally occuring when closing protowall after being in about and/or preferences window
17. New Tray icon
18. Included a donate link in: W/About/ProtoWall on the Web/Donate..
19. Shows an amber icon when pw is not running, green when running, flashing red if block occurs, in the system tray

Current Issues:

1. GUI Bugs:
1. After hiding either of the Video log window then minimizing and maximizing PW, they will unhide themselves
2. When PW is set to load minimized, it does not show the Video log windows once it is maximized
3. The activity tracker on the GUI does not work if logging is not enabled
2. If PW is forced closed and then reopened, it fails to autostart
3. PW occasionally starts up with 'Protowall Failure' message after updating the list or the app is forcefully closed
4. Protowall may crash when reloading a blocklist
5. BSOD has been known to happen, though usually not
6. The Amber Icon does not always reset itself, so it shows green when Protowall is stopped at times.
