How to apply patches on E6P Firmware

This guide is granted only to MFF-Motorola Fan Forum, it is forbidden to copy in other forum without asking permission


What we need:

-Firmware 9B.E6P, you must use Christmas Pack: http://motorolafan.forumcommunity.net/?t=11510716

Let's start!

1-Flash the mp!

First of all we have to flash Christmas Pack, I didn't find any reflash No-Patched and RSA locked, so we have to flash the whole mp.

2-Patch RSA

Now we havo to unlock the RSA. Open P2k Tools and select "FLASH Mode":



put the phone in boot-mode:




go in "Repair Rainbow POG" menù and sign "Automatic (Direct on phone)":




Then click on "Remove RSA (V3x, E770):




Immediately after clicked will appear a warning message, click on "Yes". After a while will appear another warning, DON'T click on "Yes", first exit from the boot-mode (pushing the red button) and enter again (with the usal * # and red button). Then click on "Yes" and on the phone will appear "Sw upgrade in progress..." Wait that the process finish and then, if the phone doesn't restart automatically, switch on it and look if everything ok

3-Backup CG1

Now we have to backup the CG1 We need Flash&Backup.
Put the phone in boot-mode and open F&B. Go in "Read data", select CG1 and put as backup format "SBF" If all is like the picture you can click on "Read data":



When the backup will complete, it could appear a critical error, but don't worry, it will nothing


4-Apply patches on CG1

If you closed it, reopen F&B, go on "Firmwares", click on "Select file" and select the backup of CG1 done before



Then sign "Apply Patches" and click on "Select patches":




Then click on "Add" and choose the patches you want to apply:



Sign "Automatically create "undo" for patches":



Click on "OK" and then save the patched CG1 clicking on "Save as..." (!!, save in .SBF):



Now we can close F&B


5-Flash patched CG1

Put the phone in boot-mode and open motokup. Click on the three dots in the upper right and select the patched CG1. Click on "Inizia aggiornamento" and wait for finish Restart phone and enjoy your patches!
